Crews start pumping fuel from cruise ship

Giglio, Italy (CNN) - Work is underway to pump more than 2-thousand tons of fuel from that half submerged cruise liner off the coast of Italy.

Salvage crews started pumping fuel from the Costa Concordia yesterday. Those working with the operation say things appear to be going well and according to plan right now.

The operation is expected to take between three weeks and a month.
