Study finds that mother's nicotine replacement could harm fetus

(KYTX) -- Pregnant woman who use nicotine replacement therapy to quit smoking may be harming their babies.

A new study in pediatrics found nicotine gum, patches and other products significantly increase the child's chance of developing colic after they're born.

Doctors say this is another reason for women to quit smoking well before they get pregnant.
