(KYTX) -- Scientists are testing an experimental drug that may stop brain damage after a head injury.
Usually, the blood flow decreases after a traumatic brain injury, leading to brain damage, but researchers at Wayne State University have developed a drug that prevents the restriction of blood-flow.
So far it's only been tested on rats.
