Van Zandt County Sheriffs calls off search for shooter, issues warrant for arrest

UPDATE (3:35 p.m.) - Van Zandt County Sheriff's have called off the search for a man who allegedly shot at his wife Monday morning.
 
The suspect has been identified as Jeffery Scott Shaw.
 
Officials tell CBS 19 that a warrant has been issued for Shaw's arrest.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY (KYTX) - Van Zandt County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man after he fired shots at his wife this morning.

Sheriff Pat Burnett tells CBS 19 the shooting happened after the man got into an argument with his wife near FM 858 and Highway 64 near Ben Wheeler. The man is currently missing.

We're told the bullets missed his wife. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
