I love sharing the stories of East Texas!
I joined CBS19 in June 2011 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2011 (hookem horns!). I double-majored in broadcast journalism and public relations. Outside school, I interned at KXAN Austin News and affiliated with the Delta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi.
I began my broadcast news career at CBS19 as the one and only morning producer. Six months later, I started working as a general assignments reporter. It has been a very rewarding experience. You never know what story you're going to cover next! Plus, I love my fellow reporters. Together, we make a great news team.
I currently work as the station's first and only live morning reporter. You can catch me weekdays on CBS19 This Morning.
I call San Antonio, Texas, my home. I miss my family (and the delicious Mexican food) there every day!
I enjoy exercising, beach trips, reading books and magazines, and watching reality TV. I am also a huge dessert fan. I can't resist chocolate!
