(CBS/CNN) - Occupy Wall Street activists are calling for nationwide demonstrations today to mark "May Day." Protestors say they plan to use the international workers holiday to rejuvenate their cause.
A group of Ferry workers in the San Francisco Bay area will strike today prompting service to be canceled. The workers have been working without a contract since last summer.
Delta is buying its way into the fuel business. The airline announced it's spending $150 million dollars to acquire a Sunoco oil refinery near Philadelphia. Delta is planning to use the facility to make its own jet fuel.
The company hopes the investment will end up cutting about 300 million dollars a year from its fuel bill.and by owning its own refinery, delta would protect itself from dramatic swings in gas prices.
Microsoft is making a $300 million dollar investment in Barnes and Noble. The two companies are teaming up on a venture selling e-books and college textbooks. Shares of Barnes and Noble soared more than 50 percent after the announcement.

Many delinquent borrowers are losing their homes to foreclosure, forcing many to rent. On the flip side, if you're looking to buy a home this may be a good time because the median home price continues to fall. The average asking sale price for a vacant home is just shy of $134,000.
An increasing number of men are making the decision to stay home with the kids. Census data shows 32% of men with a working wife stayed home at least one day a week in 2010. That's for families with children under 15 years-old. That's up from 26% of dads that stayed home at least once a week in 2002.
Researchers say the trend shows that families are making it work however possible -- regardless of traditional gender roles. While there is still a significant wage gap, a growing number of women are now making more than their husbands.
