(CBS/CNN) - It's a go for Google's self driving car. The license was issued Monday to Google.
Nevada is the first state to approve a license for autonomous vehicles, cars that cruise, twist and turn without the need for a driver. Earlier this spring, Google said it had "safely completed more than 200,000 miles of computer-led driving.
Soon, you won't be able to use Kodak's online photo service. It will close on July 2. A federal bankruptcy judge has approved selling Kodak Gallery to rival Shutterfly for nearly $24 million dollars. Kodak filed for bankruptcy in January. It's selling its photo printing, storage and sharing business to raise money and narrow its focus.
This year, hundreds of thousands of Americans are expected to be too broke to file for bankruptcy. The average cost to file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, the most common type, is more than $1,500 dollars. That's according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Because of the cost the group estimates anywhere from 200- thousand to as many as one million Americans will not be able to afford bankruptcy this year.
Parents, listen to this-- teens are far more likely to die behind the wheel when they have other teens in the car. Triple-A's report finds a 16 or 17-year-old driver was 44% more likely to die in a crash with one passenger under 21 years old. That's compared to driving alone. The risk increases with the number of young passengers. But, listen to this, researchers say having at least one person 35 or older in the car cut a teen driver's risk of death by more than 60 percent.
