Kansas family of 6 killed in plane crash

Lake Wales, FL (CNN) - A plane carrying a family of six crashed in Florida Thursday afternoon, killing a family of 6.

The sheriff's office says Ron Bramlage was flying the plane with his family-- including his wife Rebecca, and their four children. They were heading from the Bahamas back to their home in Junction City, Kansas. That's when something went wrong.

Witnesses to the plane crash say they felt helpless as they watched it fall from the sky.

"Sounded like they were doing acrobatics or something and then heard a boom like a sonic boom like when the space shuttle flies over. And then - that's all you heard," says Hughie Chumney.

The sheriff's office says they're still looking for a fourth child, believed to be the couple's 14 year old son.  They don't believe he survived.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

In an odd twist, an Orlando newspaper reports this is the same plane Casey Anthony used to leave Orlando after being released from jail following her trial last summer.
