SMITH COUNTY (KYTX) - A warrant will likely be issued today for one of the men who led troopers on a chase Friday night through Smith County.
30-year-old Christopher Morris of Lindale refused to stop when a trooper tried to pull him over on FM 26-61.
Morris took off through county roads, jumped out of the truck, and ran into the woods.
Troopers say a second man jumped into the driver's seat of the truck and drove away.
Morris has warrants out of Smith and Van Zandt Counties.
The truck Morris was driving was reported stolen.
The truck is described as a white, 2001 model Dodge pickup with a white rack and a 4X$ sticker.
