(CBS) - Eating disorders are not limited to young people. A new study just out of women over 50 found more than 3 percent reported binge eating, and nearly 8 percent purged. The study in the international journal of eating disorders found up to two-thirds of women said they were unhappy with their overall appearance and said it had a negative impact on their lives. The women also reported using diet pills, excessive exercise and laxatives to lose weight. Some 70 percent said they were on a diet.

(CBS) - If you live in a high traffic area listen up -- it could put you at risk for a heart attack. 50-thousand people joined a Danish cancer society study. It found a 12 percent higher risk of heart attack with every ten decibels of traffic noise. Researchers say traffic noise increases stress, and can prevent sleep, and that may explain the increased cardiac risk.

(CBS) - Looking for love? Well, it may all be in the brain, NOT the heart. Doctors in Montreal discovered love and desire are connected to the same part of the brain, a part also linked to drug addiction. The study's author says that makes sense, since love is a habit formed from desire.
