Longview Police Department:

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - On June 21, 2012 around 7 a.m., Longview Police began receiving calls from residents in the Pine Tree area. These citizens were reporting that their tires had been slashed, and their cars painted with graffiti or "keyed".

Officers determined that the vandalism occurred in the area of Gilmer Road and Toler Road and extended as far south as the Regency Park Apartments on Gilmer Road. According to some victims, the vandalism happened overnight.

Police are continuing to investigate further and encourage anyone with information to contact the Longview Police Department at 903-237-1170. Citizens with information who wish to remain anonymous may contact Gregg County Crimestoppers at 903-236-STOP(7867) or submit a tip online at www.greggcountycrimestoppers.org.
