POLK COUNTY (KYTX) - DPS in Polk County says a man is dead after crashing his car into a tree.

And the district attorney's office in Angelina County says that man was supposed to go to his plea hearing tomorrow in Angelina County Court.

DPS says 43-year-old Kenneth Earnest Strom drove into a tree on FM 356 in Polk County just before 10 this morning.

His plea hearing on a charge of improper photo or visual recording without consent was scheduled for tomorrow.

That stems from August of last year arrest.
