LONGVIEW (KYTX) -- Longview police say a short, high-speed chase happened around 3:19.

Kristi Brian said they received a call about a stolen pickup truck. Longview police spotted the truck near Jewel Street in Longview and a short chase followed. It ended at the 200 block of Jewel Street.

Brian tells CBS 19 that the truck hit a fire hydrant that caused it to crash. Longview Police arrested the driver while the passenger was caught after he was seen running down the road.

Brian said one adult and one juvenile were arrested.
