TYLER (KYTX) - The Great American Cookie Company celebrated 35 years today -- and they did it with a sweet surprise.

A double-decker, 644 pound cookie cake was sliced up and handed out to people at the Broadway Square Mall in Tyler. The company was trying to break a world record with the cookie, and donating all money raised from the event to Country for our Country to help wounded East Texas veterans and their families.
