In a work that breaks from classical Roman Catholic theology yet remains solidly orthodox, author Br. Ericjon Thomas archaeological data lends itself to belief in the Divine nature of humanity

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (PRWEB) June 26, 2012

Bro. Ericjohn Thomas’ Point of Origin investigates the evolution of religious consciousness via empirical data as an integral, essential and natural characteristic of being human. The evolution of religious consciousness is an experience found throughout human history beginning with the earliest known human species, the Cro-Magnon. By exploring the essential expressions of humanness found in aestheticism, survival wisdom, community development, and philosophical speculation, he provides the basis of an original affinity for the Divine and its creativity in nature.

A healthy theory of personality development strives toward the goal of living fully. It requires a conscious attempt to grow in living out one’s human existence in its most healthy expression. This process thereby requires a systematic effort on the part of the individual to live a psycho-spiritually integrated reality, based in the nature of being and embracing true freedom in the congruity existing in the homo rationalis. Thus, it is attendant for those who study the nature of man to holistically integrate all the factors of that nature the author finds to be a truthful and wholly natural part of humanity.

Delving into conscious acknowledgement of natural law as a universal norm guiding human activity in the wake of the plurality of religious expressions (Atheism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, etc.), Bro.Thomas then takes his effort into a high plateau by illustrating how mysticism becomes the ultimate expression of religious consciousness in the human experience. All the things that redound to what man has built today in terms of his moral foundation are here in this book – it makes the author’s work a milestone of curriculum vitae humanitas, a representation that everyone must be aware of to make the spark of Divinity in themselves work for a positive, society-wide progress.

This book will be featured at the 2012 American Library Association Annual Book Exhibit in Anaheim, Calif. on June 22-25, 2012 and the National Education Association Book Exhibit in Washington, D.C. on June 30-July 2, 2012.
