TYLER (KYTX) -- Three people were out of the hospital and recovering at home Wednesday afternoon after police say a fight over a tattoo got out of control.
It happened outside 13th Step Tattoos on east Fifth Street in Tyler.
Store employees told CBS 19 a woman and her friend came in asking for a tattoo. They said the man wanted $120 dollars worth of work done, but he only wanted to pay 40.
"He got into a verbal altercation with the owner over the fact that there wasn't enough time and they were closing," Tyler Police Officer Don Martin said.
Martin said the man shown in surveillance video fighting in the parking lot and then getting into his SUV is 33-year-old Roderick Brazzle of Longview.
The video shows the man getting into his Hummer, leaving his friend standing in the parking lot, putting the truck in gear, and then gunning it. He hits the owner and two other employees before pinning them between the truck and the mangled store-front.
Police say Brazzle drove off, but he didn't get very far. They caught up with him at Highway 31 and the East Loop.
"Officers saw the damage on the vehicle and officers were on the scene throughout the investigation so we made an on-sight arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which was his vehicle," Martin said.
Brazzle faces three counts of aggravated assault--one for each of the people he's accused of hitting.
Later on Wednesday morning, two of the victims were back at the store to look at the damage. The said they were still in shock, and amazed they walked away after everything that happened.
Two of them were hospitalized early Wednesday morning. They were treated and released.
Brazzle bonded out of jail just before 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. CBS 19 has learned he has a history of assault-related charges dating back to 2001.
