Gladewater Police Department:
GLADEWATER (KYTX) - Gregg County Crime Stoppers and the Gladewater Police Department are seeking the suspects responsible for an Aggravated Robbery of the E Z Mart Store in Gladewater Texas on June 10th, 2012.
The store, located at 400 W. Upshur Ave in Gladewater, was robbed by two suspects around 4:30 a.m.
Two black males entered the store and one suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded the clerk open the cash register. Once the clerk opened the register, the second suspect reached over the counter and removed the cash from the register drawer, leaving only the loose change. The suspects demanded the rest of the money, but fled out the door when the clerk advised he could not open the safe.
Both suspects were wearing black hoodies, blue jean shorts and blue bandanas over their faces. No vehicles were seen leaving the area.
