Longview Police arrest teens in car vandalism case

UPDATE: Police have apprehended two juveniles and are looking for a third juvenile in connection with this case. Police believe there may be others involved and encourage anyone with information to contact Longview Police.

On June 21, 2012 around 7 a.m. Longview Police began receiving calls from residents in the Pine Tree area. These citizens were reporting that their tires had been slashed. Other citizens were also reporting someone had written on their cars with some type of pain and others stated their cars had been "keyed".

Officers determined the area to be located around the Gilmer Road and Tolar Road area extending as far south as the Regency Park Apartments on Gilmer Road. According to some victims the vandalism happened overnight.

Police are continuing to investigate the vandalism at this time.
