EAST TEXAS (KYTX) -- A warning about a new phone scam that involves bogus jury duty.

According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, callers are phoning people and asking them to give out bank or credit card information for missing jury duty.

They claim it's to avoid being arrested. But this is a scam.

Here's the phone number to look out for: 704-319-7254.
