Tyler convenience store robbed

TYLER (KYTX) -- Police tell CBS 19 a convenience store was robbed at 5:25 Sunday morning.

It happened at the Speedy Exxon in the 900 block of West Front Street. Officers say the robber walked in through a door on the east side of the store and pointed a gun at the cashier, who handed over an un-disclosed amount of money. After that he took off running to the south.

Police say the robber was a black man, between 5'5" and 5'7" and weighing 140 pounds. He was wearing sun glasses, a black shirt, a black bandana over his face and a black rag on his head.
