(CBS) - Severe storms blew through the eastern part of the U.S. this weekend, killing more than a dozen people.

Millions of people lost power in the storms as high winds knocked down trees and power lines. Power crews say they are working to restore power as quickly as possible. They warn it may take a while due to the number of people with no electricity.
