Colorado Springs, CO (CBS) - People living in Colorado Springs are getting a chance to return home after a wildfire forced them out.

About seven-thousand more residents were allowed to return home Sunday. Some returned home, only to find they'd been burglarized. Police say there have been 24 confirmed burglaries in the area affected by the fire.

Firefighting crews have been able to get about 55-percent containment of the Waldo Canyon fire. Hundreds of homes have already been destroyed in the blaze.
