Rep. Jackson treated for mood disorder

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. is receiving what his office calls "intensive medical treatment" for a mood disorder.

The congressman went on leave June 10th. At the time, his office said he was being treated for exhaustion. However, they have since revised their statement to say his condition is worse than originally thought and required inpatient treatment.
