(KYTX) - The 1,400 mile pilgrimage a Texas teen started back in early June has finally ended.

Junior Garcia spent the last month walking from Saginaw, TX to Washington D.C. -- carrying a 12 ft. cross.

Garcia started the walk to motivate a country he felt was straying away from values to go back to it's roots.

"There's a lot of things that God is being taken out of in this nation," says Garcia. "And we're looking in all the wrong places, when the only answer is right here in front of us."

With his journey complete, Garcia says he can't wait to get home to share his experience.
