Family carries out man's last dying wish: to promote good will

Posted: Updated:

(KYTX) - A Kentucky man's dying wish was to leave behind more than just a little change to a stranger, anyway you slice it.

"He felt like these people are under appreciated... underpaid," says Seth Collins, brother of Aaron Collins.

A waitress at a pizza parlor got a big tip: $500 from Aaron Collins' family.

Aaron died July 7th, and his dying wish in his will asked his family to leave that money to promote good will.

They chose Pucchini's -- a place they'd never been -- and taped the experience.

"We came in, had lunch. The whole time I was so anxious because I knew what we were doing. The whole family knew she was getting a $500 tip," says Collins.

That video went viral, and since then the family says the response has been amazing.

Donations have poured in from around the world, totaling about 20-thousand dollars. The family plans to continue the giving as long as donations keep coming in.
