Needles found in Delta airline sandwiches

Posted: Updated:

(CNN) - The FBI is investigating sewing needles found in sandwiches on four Delta flights.

A Delta spokeswoman says one of the passengers who found a needle in their food, was a federal air marshal. Another traveler was injured by a needle but refused medical treatment. Gate Gourmet, the company which provided the sandwiches, say it provides meals to other airlines and haven't gotten any other reports of tampered products.
