Forney man arrested for selling drugs in undercover investigation

Forney (KYTX) – After a month long undercover investigation Kaufman County narcotics investigators were able to located a suspect in a drug selling operation.

Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One Over 4 Grams but Under 200 Grams, was Michael Sinclair, 61, of Forney. Sinclair's residence in the Summer Haven Mobile Home Park in Forney was raided by Kaufman County investigators on June 29, 2012.

Although he was not home at the time, investigators found baggies and jars containing what investigators believed to be crystal methamphetamines, a set of scales, and several different types of drug paraphernalia. A warrant was issued for him at that time.

On July 17, 2012 investigators received a tip that Sinclair was hiding at a residence in Dallas County. At approximately 12 p.m.. Michael Sinclair was taken into custody at a residence located in Dallas County without incident and transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where he awaits arraignment.
