After two seasons without any home football games, the West Rusk Raiders return to their own turf at the new Bruce Bradshaw Stadium in 2012. The former West Rusk ISD Football Stadium was condemned at the beginning of the 2010 season due to corroded beams in the stands.
The Raiders have waited two years for a field they could call their own. Now that it's here, they've made it special. There are eight gold tickers at both 37 yard lines. They represent the deadly school explosion from 1937. The turf is also designed like the University of Oregon's football field with alternating shades of light and dark green.
The $4.3 million stadium holds 2,500 fans.
