JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) -- Jacksonville Police continue to investigate a weekend fight that injured two people.

The fight happened around 2 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Palestine Street. Sgt. Daniel Franklin says the fight started after someone threw beer cans into another yard.

He says the neighbors belong to rival gangs and when one confronted the other, a huge fight broke out. At one point, a shotgun was fired, and rock fragments caused minor injuries to one person's leg.

Someone was also stabbed during the fight.

No arrests have been made.
