EAST TEXAS (KYTX) -- Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann accuses the Obama Administration of having ties to Islamic extremists.
She's among a group of five lawmakers who sent letters to intelligence leaders last month. The letters point to Hilary Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin.
They wrote, "Abedin has three family members - her late father, her mother and her brother - connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations."
"These attacks have no logic have no basis and no merit," Senator John McCain (R) Arizona said.
This isn't the first time Bachmann has made headlines with her accusations. In 2009, she called on the media to find out if some members of congress are anti-American.
