LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Thousands of people in Longview came to say goodbye to long-time restaurant owner Gerard Cace.

A procession of family and friends followed in the casket to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Longview.

The 59-year-old died of a heart attack Wednesday.

He took over the family business, Johnny Cace's Seafood, in 1980.

The restaurant has been a staple to the community for 60 years, and Cace's death shocked everyone.
