TYLER (KYTX) - It's already time for those back to school vaccinations, and several organizations are teaming up to get them to you early.
The Tyler Metro Chamber of Commerce and the North East Texas Health District offered immunizations today in Tyler.
Vaccines were provided for children under 18-years-old.
The meningitis vaccine was also available for college students.
Sylvia Warren with NETHealth says getting mandatory shots now is the best idea.
"So they won't be in a long line in August. It's very convenient. A lot more space," says Warren.
The vaccines offered today are mandatory by law.
Kids need to have them before they go back to school.
