Texas Tech freshman Minta Spears improved her game of basketball months before taking off to Lubbock. The former Bullard great began training at APEC in Tyler where she gained muscle weight and increased her speed to be able to compete at the D1 level. Now that she's at Tech, the training is paying off as she'll have her first chance to take the Court as a Lady Red Raider this fall.
