LUFKIN (KYTX) - Two people are dead and law enforcement have blocked certain areas along Texas 103 east of Lufkin in search of a homicide suspect.

According to a neighbor, police responded to the residence some time after 2 this morning after he heard loud arguments from the residence over a seven-hour period. W.D. Foreman, who lives next door to the crime scene on John Kolb Road in Angelina County, said arguing could be heard at about 5 p.m. Wednesday and continued throughout the night.

Authorities are looking for 31-year-old Terrance D. Barnes, believed to have fatally stabbed a Lufkin brother and sister, 28-year-old Pepe Pina and 27-year-old Rose Pina. Angelina County Sheriff's Office, DPS and Lufkin police have cordoned off an area of Texas 103 at Tom Holland Road as they search for Barnes, who is from Center.

Foreman told KYTX CBS 19's Amanda Roberson that he heard loud screaming at about 1:50 a.m., about 20 minutes before law enforcement arrived at the scene.
