Cowboys Arrive in Oxnard, While Texans Begin Camp

Training camp is less than two days away for the Cowboys and several players arrived in Oxnard, CA, Saturday though they have until Sunday to "officially" report to camp. Over 2,000 military personnel greeted players at Point Mugu Naval Air Station and they signed autographs before taking off to the team hotel. Every cowboy will take a conditioning test Sunday then they'll have their first full-squad practice on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Houston Texans started day one of training camp Saturday at the team's training facility. Two key Texans are back on the field and healthy after a rough 2011 season. If quarterback Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson stay healthy in 2012, Houston appears to be the AFC South favorite.

Schaub missed the last six games of season and postseason play due to a foot injury. Johnson on the other hand, sat out nine regular-season games because of hamstring injuries. Houston went 10 and 6 last year, winning its first-ever playoff game.
