SMITH COUNTY (KYTX) - East Texas firefighters worked for hours this morning battling a fire burning in Smith County.

The fire started just before 3 in the 12,000 block of County Road 46. Right now, all we know is that at least 2 RVs burned. Several fire departments responded to help fight the fire including Noonday, Dixie and Lindale. Smith County tells us firefighters had to use brush trucks to fight the fire because they couldn't get the big trucks into the woods.

So far, no injures have been reported. We don't know exactly how the fire started.
