Kaufman County Sheriffs:
KAUFMAN (KYTX) – Kaufman County narcotics division and the Kaufman County Multijurisdictional SWAT Team, as well as the Kaufman Police Department executed a search warrant on an apartment on Hickory Street in Kaufman.
Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One Greater than One Gram, but less than 4 Grams, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. was Candi Lavette Jackson, 38, of Dallas, and Savella Almada Black, 33, of Houston. Jackson was also already on a parole for a 2008 case where she was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One greater than 4 Grams, but under 200 Grams and Possession of marijuana under 2 oz..
Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center where bond for Black is set at $110,000.00. Jackson is being held without bond.
