Missing Lufkin man found at Nacogdoches shelter

Per Lufkin PD Detective David Cross: Missing person Curtis Chambers was located at GODTEL shelter in Nacogdoches. Someone connected with the shelter saw media coverage about Mr. Chambers and called the shelter director. His sister is headed that way to get him.

LUFKIN (KYTX) - Curtis Chambers left his home on Dianna Street in Lufkin on Friday morning around 8 AM. He told his sister he was going fishing near Etoile on Lake Sam Rayburn.

He has not returned and is diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia.

He is driving a 1995 light green Isuzu Rodeo SUV with tinted windows bearing Texas license plate BW1G692.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt and blue jeans with black shoes. Curtis Chambers has gone missing in the past and ended up in Oklahoma in the last case we worked on him.

Chambers is a 49-year-old white male, 5-10, 190 pounds with hazel eyes, gray hair and fair complexion.
