LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A domestic dispute led to a shooting at a residence in the 200 block of East Birdsong Street in Longview this morning.
According to Longview police spokeswoman Kristie Brian, at about 10:30 today, officers responded to a shots-fired call at the home. Several rounds of ammunition from a high-powered rifle were fired by the suspect, who was firing at a woman's car as she left the residence following an argument. Bullets struck the vehicle and a home across Birdsong Street where two minor children were inside, but no one was injured, Brian said.
The suspect was arrested on two counts of third-degree felony deadly conduct and three counts of aggravated assault. The suspect's name has not been released by police.
