ALBA (KYTX) - An Alba woman accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child was in the Wood County Jail Wednesday after a tip led to her arrest.

According to a brief news release issued by the Wood County Sheriff's Office Wednesday afternoon, Roni Curry, 24, was picked up in Alba by deputies on a Crime Stoppers tip around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday night.

She's charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and a bond was set at $100,000, according to the release.

Ms. Curry has been arrested three times since December. The December charge was for "continuous sexual abuse of a child," according to jail records while a charge leveled against her in March was for "sexual abuse of a child bond forfeiture," according to Wood County Jail records.

Wood County authorities were seeking Ms. Curry and David Bowman, earlier this year for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 14, according to past documents received from the sheriff's office.
In March, Ms. Curry turned herself into the sheriff's office and was released in April after posting a $40,000 bond, according to jail records.
