Update: Longview police identify body found at Buffalo Wild Wings

 UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview police have identified the deceased as 44-year-old Ken Miguel Owsley, of Longview. Police spokeswoman Kristie Brian has not released a cause of death at this time.


UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview Police say they are close to making an identification on a body found in Longview Thursday.

Police received a call just before 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon from a customer at Buffalo Wild Wings on North Eastman Road saying there was a dead body in the parking lot.

Investigators found the body was below a retaining wall in a grassy area -- far enough off the roadway where driver's couldn't see.

Customers at the restaurant were surprised by the discovery.  The man's body was taken to Tyler for an autopsy.  His name and cause of death are not known at this time.

UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview police are trying to identify a body found Thursday afternoon just off of north Eastman street.

A call from someone at Buffalo Wild Wings on North Eastman came into police just before 2 p.m.
Investigators found the black man's body below a retaining wall in front of the restaurant.

As of now, he has not been identified and an autopsy will be ordered.

Police are asking that for any information regarding the identity of the victim to call Crimestoppers (903) 236-STOP or Longview Police at (903) 237-1170. 


 

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Police are investigating a dead body found near a Longview restaurant this afternoon.

We have a crew on the scene of Buffalo Wild Wings on North Eastman Road at Hawkins Pkwy. No other details are available at this time.
