UPDATE: Today, Kilgore police released surveillance video from Saturday's incident.
KILGORE (KYTX) - On Saturday August 4, 2012 at approximately 12:27 P.M., Kilgore police officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery at Rose Package Store #3, located at 3300 US 259 N in Kilgore, Gregg Co., TX.
A Rose Package Store staff member told officers a black male, dressed as a woman wearing a black wig, a green knee-length dress and white undershirt, entered the store brandishing a silver handgun described as a revolver.
The lone perpetrator then produced a set of handcuffs and forced the clerk to handcuff himself. The perpetrator took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and clerk before fleeing the scene in a white in color 1987 Buick four-door sedan, Texas License Plate CV4Y820.
That vehicle was located a short time later by Kilgore Police Officers, abandoned in a parking lot, a short distance from the crime scene and is currently in impound at the Kilgore Police Department.
