(CBS) - The civil trial against former IMF head Dominique Strauss Kahn gets underway this week. The judge rejected Strauss Kahn's attempt to have the case dismissed on the grounds of diplomatic immunity. A hotel maid is accusing him of sexual assault. Prosecutors dropped criminal charges in the case last year.

(CBS) - The IRS has been handing out billions of dollars in fraudulent tax refunds -- to identity thieves. A new report finds the agency failed to prevent one and a half million potentially fraudulent tax returns from being processed last year. That resulted in refunds totaling more than $5 billion dollars.

(CBS) - NASA has picked Boeing and two other aerospace companies to build small rocketships that will take astronauts to the International Space Station. The contracts are worth more than a billion dollars. But until the ships are built, NASA will continue paying Russia to provide the ride.
