WISCONSIN (KYTX) - Investigators could be at a Sikh Temple near Milwaukee all week collecting evidence after Sunday's shooting rampage.

Police identified the shooter as 40-year-old Wade Michael Page and say he was discharged from the army in 1998.

Investigators say he killed six people yesterday at the temple in Oak Creek and wounded three others including an officer before police shot and killed him.

The son of the temple's president says his father died trying to stop the attacker.

FBI agents are confident Page acted alone but say investigators are looking for this man, a person of interest who witness say showed up at the scene after the shooting federal authorities are investigating whether this was an act of domestic terrorism or a hate-based crime.
