(CNN) - The LAPD is investigating death threats made against actress Ellen Page. The "Juno" star recently received threats on Twitter including one reading - "I'm going to murder Ellen Page, she's dead," according to the LA Times. Organizers of the LA Film Festival also got threatening calls during the premiere of her new movie "To Rome With Love" in June.

(CNN) - Elton John is fanning the flames in his on again, off again feud with Madonna. In an interview with Australian TV, Sir Elton called Madonna's career over and said she looked like a "fairground stripper." Elton was a bit of a sore loser after Madonna won the Golden Globe for "Best Original Song." He's criticized her in the past for lip synching.

(CNN) - Nick Jonas has confirmed that he is one of the stars being considered to judge "American Idol." The FOX show is overhauling its judges panel with Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez leaving. Mariah Carey has been confirmed as one of the new "Idol" judges. Pharrell Williams and Jonas are reported to be frontrunners to join the show. Jonas said on Twitter that he is being considered and "it would be a dream come true if it happens."
