SHREVEPORT, La (KYTX)- Bossier City police have arrested three men in connection with the overnight armed robbery of a local convenient store. Samuel Dion Vinson, 19, of Shreveport, Jertavious Jermaine Watkins, 23, of Bossier City and Justin Tremaine Boatwin, 20, of Shreveport were arrested on armed robbery charges for holding up the Circle K Store in the 1200 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

Police say Vinson walked into the business just before 1 a.m. armed with a gun, approached an employee and demanded money from the cash register. Vinson then ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and met up with Watkins and Boatwin who were waiting in a getaway car parked behind the store on Ogilvie Street.

Witnesses were able to provide police with a description of the suspect vehicle - a blue Honda Accord. Not long after the robbery took place, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Benton Road on a vehicle fitting that description with three subjects inside. Those individuals, later identified as Vinson, Watkins and Boatwin, were taken into custody and subsequently arrested based on an investigation conducted by detectives.

The three suspects were booked into the Bossier City Jail. Bond has not yet been set.
