SMITH COUNTY (KYTX) -- More information on the report released yesterday concerning Adequate Yearly Progress standards.

72 percent of school districts in Texas did not meet requirements.

Lindale ISD, one of the school districts that did, is pleased with its performance. Superintendent Stan Surratt says the bar has been raised every year, to the point these standards need updating to stay realistic.
