LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A 38-year-old Kilgore man is in the Gregg County Jail, charged with possession and promotion of child pornography.

An investigation led by Longview police cyber crimes detective Kevin Brownlee determined that Bobby Dee Fleet possessed images of child porn at his home in the 1700 block of Spinks-Chapman Road in Kilgore. Among the images in Fleet's computer were three files of photos of a nude female child about 7 or 8 years old, according to a criminal complaint filed in Gregg County's 124th District Court.

The images were discovered the images while executing a search warrant at Fleet's home on Thursday. Police seized Fleet's computer and several computer-related items.

"Other computer storage devices seized during the search warrant contained images of Bobby Fleet, and investigators found no evidence that anyone else resided at the location," Brownlee stated in the complaint.

Fleet was taken into custody at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Rothance Drive in Longview. He remains in the Gregg County Jail on $150,000 bond. He is serving five years' probation for a 2010 conviction for failing to honor his duty in registering as a sex offender for life.
