Motorcycles stolen in burglary at ET State Fairgrounds

TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler police are investigating a commercial burglary at the East Texas State Fairgrounds, in which five Suzuki GZ250 motorcycles were taken.

According to a police report filed today, authorities discovered the break-in at 7:20 a.m. at the fairgrounds in the 2100 block of West Front Street. The victims are the East Texas State Fair Association and Motor Sports Training Center, who is believed to be the owners of the cycles.

The cycles retail for about $3,000 each, according to popularmechanics.com.

No arrests have been announced in the case. Officers believe the suspect or suspects used a knife or other cutting instrument to gain entry into the building, records show.
