Strong storms hit Oklahoma, California - KYTX CBS 19 Tyler Longview News Weather Sports

DURANT, OK (CNN) - Some people living in Oklahoma have a big clean up job ahead of them.

Strong winds and powerful rains rolled through Durant County Sunday afternoon. Several buildings were destroyed and many were left without power. One semi-truck overturned on a highway causing a traffic jam for several hours. No serious injuries reported at this time.

Parts of California have been dealing with severe weather for the past two days. A tornado touched down in the Inland Empire Sunday afternoon. Strong winds also snapped several wooden power poles.

The L-A Times reports the Riverside County Sheriff's Office sent deputies to help, as power crews worked to clean up the damage.
